There was a time when I believed I was doing everything right. I had built a successful career, worked hard, stayed loyal, and showed up every day. Like so many people, I believed that a steady paycheck meant security.
Then something changed.
Over the years, I watched talented, hardworking people lose jobs they never imagined they would lose. Companies reorganized, budgets changed, and entire departments disappeared. These weren’t people who had failed. They were people who had done everything “right.”
It made me stop and ask myself a question I couldn’t ignore.
What would happen if my paycheck disappeared tomorrow?
The truth was, I didn’t like my answer.
Not because I wasn’t capable of finding another job, but because I had become completely dependent on one source of income. I realized that relying on a single paycheck wasn’t security at all. It was risk.
That realization changed the direction of my life.
Instead of hoping my job would always be there, I decided to start building skills that no one could take away from me. I began learning website design, search engine optimization, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, automation, and how online businesses actually work.
Some ideas were successful. Others failed spectacularly. But every project taught me something valuable, and every new skill gave me a little more confidence.
Eventually, I realized something that completely changed the way I think about financial freedom.
The greatest asset you can build isn’t another paycheck. It’s becoming someone who knows how to create one.
That’s why I created Build More Than One Paycheck™.

This isn’t a website about getting rich overnight. It’s not about chasing every new side hustle or promising unrealistic results. It’s about helping everyday people, especially busy women, learn practical skills that create more choices, more confidence, and more freedom.
I believe financial security doesn’t come from hoping your employer never changes. It comes from knowing that if life throws you a curveball, you have the skills to create opportunities for yourself.
That’s exactly what I’m doing.
I’m still working full-time. I’m still learning. I’m still building this business one step at a time, and I’m sharing everything I learn along the way. I’m not writing this after selling a million-dollar company or retiring in my thirties. I’m writing this while balancing a corporate career, building a business after hours, and dreaming about the day I can work from anywhere, even my RV.
I think that’s important because I know so many women are in the same place. They aren’t looking for someone who has all the answers. They’re looking for someone who’s walking the same road and willing to share what works, what doesn’t, and what they learn along the way.
That’s exactly what you’ll find here.
On this website, I’ll be sharing practical strategies for creating digital products, learning AI, building websites, improving marketing skills, creating business systems, and developing multiple income streams that fit into real life. My goal isn’t to overwhelm you with complicated business models. My goal is to help you build something sustainable, one skill at a time.
Because that’s what this journey is really about.
It’s about creating options.
It’s about knowing that your future isn’t tied to one employer, one paycheck, or one job title.
It’s about building something that’s yours.
If you’ve been feeling that quiet voice telling you there’s more out there, or wondering how you could create additional income without sacrificing your entire life, you’re in the right place.
I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s build more than one paycheck together.
